How payment works on Keepr
The short version: you pay through Paystack, Keepr holds the seller's share, and the seller is paid after you confirm you got your order.

Questions
Where does my money go when I pay?
Your payment is processed by Paystack and lands in Keepr's Paystack account, not the seller's. Keepr records the order as paid and keeps the seller's and rider's share on hold. Keepr is a marketplace, not a bank, and this is not a regulated escrow or insurance product.
When does the seller get paid?
Only after you tap "I've received it" on your order. Then the seller's earnings (item total minus a 5% Keepr fee) and the rider's delivery fee (minus 3%) become available to withdraw. Payment isn't released automatically, so don't confirm until you have your order.
How do sellers and riders withdraw?
They request a withdrawal to their bank account in the app. Keepr's team pays each request by bank transfer. Payouts take up to 12 hours. Minimum withdrawal: ₦500 for sellers, ₦100 for riders.
What does it cost me as a buyer?
The item price, delivery if you choose it (₦500 per 5 km band), and a 7% service fee on items plus delivery. You see every line and the total before you pay. Pickup has no delivery fee.
Something's wrong with my order. What do I do?
Before you confirm, chat with the seller in the app first. If you can't sort it out, tap Report a problem on the order page. The order is frozen, so nobody can be paid while Keepr's team reviews the chat and order history. Staff then either refund you or release payment to the seller. Once you've confirmed receipt, the order can no longer be disputed.
Can an order be cancelled?
There's no one-tap cancel yet. If you started checkout but didn't finish paying, nothing was charged. If you've paid and need to cancel, chat with the seller, then use Report a problem so Keepr staff can refund you. Approved refunds go back through Paystack to the way you paid.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on the seller and an available rider; there's no guaranteed delivery time. You'll see the order status change (preparing, ready, out for delivery, delivered) and can chat with your rider.
Who are the sellers and riders?
Students. Every seller and rider uploads their student ID card and is checked by Keepr before they can sell or take jobs; riders also show proof of vehicle ownership. Ratings come only from buyers who confirmed an order.
